Daddy flew off to New York at midnight this morning...

While I was having breakfast with the kids, I said, "God will take care of us when Daddy's not here."
Zach said, "But God is not here in our house, how can he take care of us?"

What a clever question for a 3 yr old!!!

Gave me opportunity to talk about God's omnipresence and omnipotence... in kids' language of course =)

haha... not yet! He asked daddy to buy toothpaste =) and I'm trying not to raise his hopes about other presents... let them be surprised when daddy comes back!
